Mrs. Bettie Staton, whose
funeral occurred at Freedom church last week, was formerly Miss Bettie Scott.
She attended Waveland HS and was graduated with the class of 1918. She was a
girl of unusual ability and had many warm friends here. -- kbz

married Clarence Staton in Lebanon 12-5-1926 (Marriage Record 9 p 227
Montgomery County). Her parents were : A.L. Scott and Princess Lawson - his
parents: Oliver Staton and Sarah Kinnaman
